The family of Ruyati binti SabotiSaruna plans to sue the Indonesian government for its lack of legal assistance extendedto Ruyati, who was executed under a Saudi Arabia court order on Saturday.
We are truly disappointed with the governmentfor not caring about an Indonesian migrant worker in legal trouble, Ruyatis daughterEvi Purwati said Sunday as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
She said she had only just receivedinformation that her mother would be tried in May or June for allegedly killingemployer Khairiya binti Hamid Mijlid.
But I was shocked to learn that mymother had been executed. I received the news from Migrant Care. Even thegovernment does not know anything about the execution, she said.
Evi said she had not yet received anyinformation about when Ruyati’s remains would be returned to Indonesia.
We request the government bringback our mothers remains, Evi said.
